Gearing Up for Festival Season!

I’m so ready for the festival season to begin. I miss getting out and setting up my tent every weekend, meeting new people, and of course… kettle corn!!! I had a great time at the Lexington Holiday Market back in November, it was the last festival before the winter (a.k.a. no festival season *insert frowny face*). Holiday Market was the first and only time I’ve had a chance to set up my new tent… which I absolutely loved!

I liked not having to deal with the fiddly vent on the top. This tent is a “Swiss Gear” and the extra side walls can be purchased separately.

I just completed applications for two spring festivals:

Mayfest Arts Fair – Gratz Park, Lexington
Saturday May 7th 2011, 10am – 6pm
Sunday May 8th 2011, 11am – 5pm

Beer Cheese Festival – Downtown Winchester
Friday June 10th 2011, 6-10:30 p.m.
Saturday June 11th 2011, 10:00 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Miss Biddy and I participated in the Beer Cheese Festival last year. It was our very first festival, and despite the torrential downpour, we had a great time! Unfortunately she will be at the beach this year, so I will be flying it solo this time around.
